Her two suitors vie for her affection, utilizing completely different philosophies and tactics. This is not a heartwarming love story, but the twinge of doubt and despair makes for great rumination. Meek's characterization of loves many forms is intriguing—equal parts desirable, desperate, tragic, and hopeful.
