The Seven Good Years by Etgar Keret

If you’re familiar with Etgar Keret’s short fiction, you already know he’s capable of magic and able to effortlessly bring the reader into a world where humor and melancholy quietly coexist. The Seven Good Years paints a bittersweet portrait of father–son relationships that we don’t often get to read about. It manages to hold onto humor despite war and loss being a constant background in the lives of three generations. Keret’s first nonfiction book in English does not disappoint.  —Megan

The Knitting All Around Stitch Dictionary by Wendy Barnard

I loved Wendy’s first installment of these unique knitting stitches (Up, Down, All Around). The patterns are written for either flat or in-the-round, making it easy to design a new hat, scarf, or sweater around your new favorite stitch pattern. Remember, knitting isn’t just for winter; break out the cotton and linen and get your lace on for a fancy warm-weather tee!  —Megan
